حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُنَادِي كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ سَاعَةً فِيهَا مُنَادٍ، هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Every night a caller announces that I will not ask anyone else about My servants. Who is there who will supplicate to Me so that I may accept his supplication? Who is there who will ask of Me so that I may grant him? This announcement continues until the break of dawn, and who is there who will seek forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?
