حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، وَسَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ، فَأَرِيقُوا (٥) عَنْهُ الدَّمَ، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " (٦)، ، قَالَا (١) : وَكَانَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ: " إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى حَلْقَ الرَّأْسِ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ "،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Perform 'aqiqah on the birth of a boy; remove impurities, etc., and sacrifice an animal on his behalf.
