حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ، ، سِيرِينَ، عَنِ الرَّبَابِ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ بِنْتِ صُلَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَهِيَ عَلَى ذِي الْقُرْبَى اثْنَتَانِ صِلَةٌ، وَصَدَقَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Giving charity to a poor person has a single reward, and giving charity to close relatives has a double reward—one for charity and the other for maintaining family ties.
