حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ، ، سِيرِينَ، عَنِ الرَّبَابِ (١) أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ بِنْتِ صُلَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَإِنَّهَا عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَصِلَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
And I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that giving charity to a poor person has a single reward, and giving charity to a close relative has a double reward: one for charity and the other for maintaining family ties.
