حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الْمُرَادِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ الرِّبَا، إِلَّا أُخِذُوا بِالسَّنَةِ، وَمَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ الرُّشَا، إِلَّا أُخِذُوا بِالرُّعْبِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The nation in which usury becomes widespread is afflicted with famine, and the nation in which bribery becomes common is overcome with fear."
