حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنَ، ، الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيّاشٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الحِمْيَريُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ، صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا أَتَى بَيْتَ قَوْمٍ، أَتَاهُ مِمَّا يَلِي جِدَارَهُ، وَلَا يَأْتِيِ (١) مُسْتَقْبِلًا بَابَهُ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would go to someone's house, he would stand behind the wall, not directly in front of the door.
