حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ ضَرَبَ مَثَلًا صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا، عَلَى كَتِفَيِ الصِّرَاطِ سُورَانِ، فِيهِمَا أَبْوَابٌ مُفَتَّحَةٌ، وَعَلَى الْأَبْوَابِ سُتُورٌ، وَدَاعٍ يَدْعُو عَلَى رَأْسِ (١) الصِّرَاطِ، وَدَاعٍ يَدْعُو مِنْ فَوْقِهِ، وَاللهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلَامِ، وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ، فَالْأَبْوَابُ الَّتِي عَلَى كَتِفَيِ الصِّرَاطِ: حُدُودُ اللهِ، لَا يَقَعُ أَحَدٌ فِي حُدُودِ اللهِ، حَتَّى يُكْشَفَ، ، سِتْرُ اللهِ، وَالَّذِي يَدْعُو مِنْ فَوْقِهِ: وَاعِظُ اللهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nawas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah has given an example that there is a straight path, on both sides of which are walls, and in these walls are open doors, with curtains hanging over the doors. At the main gate of the path, a caller is standing and calling out, and another caller is calling from above it. Allah invites to the house of peace and guides whom He wills to the straight path.
