حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْأَزْرَقُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْضِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ، وَكَانَ شَعَرُهُ يَبْلُغُ كَتِفَيْهِ أَوْ مَنْكِبَيْهِ " شَكَّ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Rimtha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to dye (his hair) with henna and katam, and his blessed hair would reach up to his shoulders.
