حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ، مِنْ فَهْمٍ، قَالَ: - وَأَظُنُّهُ يُسَمَّى مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: وَأَظُنُّهُ حِجَازِيًّا - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَقَدْ نُحِرَتْ لِلقَوْمِ جَزُورٌ - أَوْ بَعِيرٌ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَالْقَوْمُ يُلْقُونَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّحْمَ، يَقُولُ: " أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Mis’ar told us: An old man of Fahm - he said:
I think he was called Muhammad bin ‘AbdurRahman, and I think he was from the Hijaz - told us that he heard "Abdullah bin Ja"far tell Ibn azZubair, when a camel had been slaughtered for the people, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)say, when the people were putting meat in front of him: "The best meat is the meat from the back."
