حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا، وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ، فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any of you applies incense, let him do so an odd number of times, and when he applies kohl, let him also do so an odd number of times.
