حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ،، ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَوْ كَانَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي إِهَابٍ، مَا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If the Noble Qur'an is wrapped in any leather and thrown into the fire, the fire will not burn it.
