Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Whoever hangs a tameemah (amulet), may Allah not fulfill his intention, and whoever hangs a wada’ah (a white object brought from across the sea, hung around children’s necks out of fear of the evil eye), may Allah not grant him peace.
