حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ، ، عَلَى النِّسَاءِ " فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَفَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ؟ قَالَ: " الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Protect yourselves from going near women. An Ansari asked, "O Messenger of Allah! (ﷺ) What is the ruling regarding the brother-in-law?" He replied, "The brother-in-law is death."
