Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ، ، يَقُولُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، اكْفِنِي أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ بِأَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ، أَكْفِكَ بِهِنَّ آخِرَ يَوْمِكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty says: O son of Adam! Perform four rak'ahs for Me in the first part of the day, I will suffice you with their blessing until the end of the day.
