حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَذَعِ،، ، فَقَالَ: " ضَحِّ بِهِ، فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the ruling of sacrifice for a six-month-old child. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You may offer the sacrifice for him, there is no harm.
