حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمُ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامُ (٢) التَّشْرِيقِ، عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَهُنَّ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Day of Arafah, the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah (the day of sacrifice), and the days of Tashreeq are the days of Eid for us Muslims, and they are days of eating and drinking.
