حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْنَعُ أَهْلَ الْحِلْيَةِ وَالْحَرِيرِ، وَيَقُولُ: " إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ حِلْيَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَحَرِيرَهَا، فَلَا تَلْبَسُوهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to forbid his family from (wearing) jewelry and silk, and he used to say: "If you love the jewelry and silk of Paradise, then do not wear them in this world."
