حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنَا بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ،، ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ مَيَاثِرِ النُّمُورِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade men from using saddles made of silk, gold, and leopard skins.
