حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَيَعْلَى، وَمُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَيْ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالُوا: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ:، ، إِنِّي أُبْدِعَ بِي، فَاحْمِلْنِي. قَالَ: مَا عِنْدِي مَا أَحْمِلُكَ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَكِنْ ائْتِ فُلَانًا. فَأَتَاهُ، فَحَمَلَهُ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ، فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ " قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ بُدِعَ بِي (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, “My travel provisions and mount have run out, so please provide me with a mount.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “At this moment, I do not have any animal on which I can mount you, but go to such-and-such person.” He went to that person, and he gave him a mount. That man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him of this. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness, he will have a reward like that of the one who does it.”
