Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا (١) أَبِي: عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ، ثُمَّ أَخْرُجُ إِلَى السُّوقِ، فَلَوْ أَرْمِي لَأَبْصَرْتُ مَوَاقِعَ نَبْلِي " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to offer the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and then come to the market, and at that time, if I threw an arrow, I could still see the place where the arrow fell.
