Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُوطَأَ الْأَمَةُ حَتَّى تَحِيضَ، وَعَنِ الْحَبَالَى حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِنَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ruifa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade intercourse with a slave woman before her menstruation period, and also with a pregnant woman until she gives birth.
