حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُرَشِيِّ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، أَنَّ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ نُفَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أسَمْتُ (١) الْخَيْلَ، وَأَلْقَيْتُ السِّلَاحَ، وَوَضَعَتِ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا،، ، قُلْتُ: لَا قِتَالَ. فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْآنَ جَاءَ (١) الْقِتَالُ، لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى النَّاسِ، يَزْيِغُ (٢) اللهُ قُلُوبَ أَقْوَامٍ، فَيُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ، وَيَرْزُقُهُمُ اللهُ مِنْهُمْ، حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، أَلَا إِنَّ عُقْرَ دَارِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الشَّامُ، وَالْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي، ، نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salamah bin Nufail (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he presented himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "I have sent my horse to graze, taken off my weapons, and there is a truce, so now there will be no fighting." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Now is the time for fighting. A group from my Ummah will always prevail over the people. Allah will remove fear from the hearts of some people, and they will fight them, and Allah will provide them sustenance from there. Until when Allah's command comes, they will be in that state. Remember! The place where the blood of Muslims will be shed is Syria, and goodness and blessing have been placed in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Judgment."
