حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ فِي جَسَدِهِ يُؤْذِيهِ، إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ عَنْهُ (٢) بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whatever pain reaches a Muslim in his body, Allah Almighty, through it, expiates his sins.
