حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَحْصَبِيِّ، قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا فَقَّهَهُ فِي الدِّينِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: When Allah intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion.
