Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ جَرَادٍ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ، ، خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ " (١)، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion."
