حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ الْقَنَّادِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ رُكُوبِ النِّمَارِ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ إِلَّا مُقَطَّعًا " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade riding on cheetahs and wearing gold, except if it is in small pieces (a small amount).
