حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تُبَادِرُونِي بِرُكُوعٍ وَلَا بِسُجُودٍ، فَإِنَّهُ مَهْمَا أَسْبِقْكُمْ بِهِ إِذَا رَكَعْتُ تُدْرِكُونِي إِذَا رَفَعْتُ، وَمَهْمَا أَسْبِقْكُمْ بِهِ إِذَا سَجَدْتُ تُدْرِكُونِي إِذَا رَفَعْتُ إِنِّي قَدْ بَدَّنْتُ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do not perform bowing (ruku) or prostration (sajdah) before me, because when I bow before you, you will find me in ruku before I raise my head, and when I prostrate before you, you will find me in sajdah before I raise my head. I am saying this because now my body has become heavy."
