Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Azhar that I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the day of the Battle of Hunayn, making his way through the people and asking about the whereabouts of Khalid bin Walid. Shortly thereafter, some people brought a man in a state of intoxication to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered those who were with him to strike the man with whatever they had in their hands.
