حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأَحْمَدُ، وَالْحَاشِرُ، وَالْمَاحِي، وَالْخَاتِمُ، وَالْعَاقِبُ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: I have several names, I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am Hashir, I am Mahi, I am Khatim, and I am Aqib.
