حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِنَّهُ " لَوَاقِفٌ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ لَهُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ مَعَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَدْفَعَ مَعَهُمْ مِنْهَا، تَوْفِيقًا مِنَ اللهِ لَهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before the time of the descent of revelation; he was standing with the people at Arafat on his camel and was returning with them. This too was by the grace of Allah.
