حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ جُبَيْرَ بْنَ مُطْعِمٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،، ، فَكَلَّمَتْهُ فِي شَيْءٍ، فَأَمَرَهَا بِأَمْرٍ، فَقَالَتْ: أَرَأَيْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ لَمْ أَجِدْكَ؟ قَالَ: " إِنْ لَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَأْتِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a woman came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and spoke to him about some matter. The Prophet (ﷺ) answered her. She said, “O Messenger of Allah! Tell me, if I do not find you, then what should I do?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr.”
