حَدِيثُ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ، • ١٦٧٢١ - قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ (١) أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ أَبِي رَبِيعَةُ (٢) بِنْتُ عِيَاضٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُ،، ، عَنْ جَدِّهَا عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ " يَتَوَضَّأُ فَأَسْبَغَ الطُّهُورَ " (١) " وَكَانَتْ هِيَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَتْ، أَسْبَغَتِ الطُّهُورَ حَتَّى تَرْفَعَ الْخِمَارَ، فَتَمْسَحَ عَلَى (٢) رَأْسِهَا "، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubaidah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing ablution; he performed a complete and thorough ablution. The narrator says that my grandmother, Rabi’ah, also used to perform a perfect ablution and would wipe over her head by lifting her scarf.
