حَدِيثُ أَبِي حَسَنٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ (١) بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ لَهُ صُحْبَةً، • ١٦٧١١ - قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، قَالَ: عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي حَسَنٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ الْأَسْوَافَ (٢) ، َقَالَ (٣) : فَأَثَرْتُ - وَقَالَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، مَرَّةً: فَأَخَذْتُ - دُبْسَتَيْنِ، قَالَ: وَأُمُّهُمَا تُرَشْرِشُ عَلَيْهِمَا، وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ آخُذَهُمَا، قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ أَبُو حَسَنٍ، فَنَزَعَ مِتِّيخَةً، قَالَ: فَضَرَبَنِي بِهَا، فَقَالَتْ لِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنَّا، يُقَالُ لَهَا مَرْيَمُ: لَقَدْ تَعِسْتَ مِنْ عَضُدِهِ، مِنْ (٤) تَكْسِيرِ الْمِتِّيخَةِ، قَالَ (٥) : فَقَالَ لِي: أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ " (٦)، ، •
Translation
English translation
Yahya bin Ammarah narrates from his grandfather that once I reached a sandy place, where I caught two small birds. Seeing this, their mother started fluttering her wings. Meanwhile, Abu Hasan arrived, took out his stick, and began to hit me with it. A woman from our family, whose name was Maryam, said, "You will break his arm or the stick." He said to me, "Do you not know that the Prophet (peace be upon him) has declared the area between the two boundaries of Madinah Munawwarah as a sanctuary?"
