Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ حَبَّانَ بْنِ وَاسِعٍ، عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا جَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Khallad bin Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate, he would turn the inner part of his palms towards his face.
