حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ،، ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ (١) بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: " أَنْتُمْ أَهْلُ بَدْوِنَا وَنَحْنُ أَهْلُ حَضَرِكُمْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented myself before the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) said: You people are our countryside and we are your city.
