حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ - وَقَالَ غَيْرُ يُونُسَ , ابْنُ رَزِينٍ أَنَّهُ نَزَلَ الرَّبَذَةَ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابٌ لَهُ (٢) يُرِيدُونَ الْحَجَّ، قِيلَ لَهُمْ: هَاهُنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْأَكْوَعِ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَيْنَاهُ فَسَلَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ سَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ: " بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي هَذِهِ "، وَأَخْرَجَ لَنَا كَفَّهُ كَفًّا ضَخْمَةً، قَالَ: فَقُمْنَا إِلَيْهِ فَقَبَّلْنَا كَفَّيْهِ جَمِيعًا (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdur Rahman bin Razin says that he and his companions were going for Hajj, and on the way, they camped at the place of Rabdha. Someone told them that a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Salamah bin Akwa', also lives here. We went to him and greeted him with salam. Then we asked him something, so he said: I have pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with this very hand of mine. Saying this, he extended his filled palm. We stood up and kissed both of his palms.
