حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ يَقُولُ: " أَجْلَسَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجْرِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِي وَسَمَّانِي يُوسُفَ "، (٢)،
Translation
English translation
(Marfu' hadith) Abu Ahmad az-Zubayri narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi al-Haytham narrated to us, he said: I heard Yusuf ibn Abd Allah ibn Salam say: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, seated me in his lap, wiped over my head, and named me Yusuf."
