حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ كَانَ يَسْكُنُ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَرَأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَغَيَّرَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يُغَيِّرْ عَلَيَّ، قَالَ: فَاجْتَمَعْنَا (١) عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: فَقَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ: " قَدْ أَحْسَنْتَ "، قَالَ: فَكَأَنَّ عُمَرَ وَجَدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، (٢) فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا عُمَرُ، إِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّهُ صَوَابٌ مَا لَمْ يُجْعَلْ عَذَابٌ مَغْفِرَةً أَوْ مَغْفِرَةٌ عَذَابًا "، وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى أَبُو (٣) ثَابِتٍ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ (٤)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Talha that once a person was reciting the Noble Qur'an in front of Umar. During this, Umar prompted him, but the man said, "I recited it like this in front of the Prophet (ﷺ), but the Prophet (ﷺ) did not make any change in it." So both of them went together to the Prophet (ﷺ), and that man recited the Noble Qur'an to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) approved of his recitation. Umar apparently felt something about this, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O Umar, the entire Qur'an is correct as long as a person does not change forgiveness into punishment or punishment into forgiveness."
