حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، وَحُسَيْنٌ، فِي تَفْسِيرِ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ قَالَ: " غَشِيَنَا النُّعَاسُ وَنَحْنُ فِي مَصَافِّنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ (١) ـ قَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ ـ: وَكُنْتُ (٢) فِيمَنْ غَشِيَهُ النُّعَاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ، فَجَعَلَ (٣) سَيْفِي يَسْقُطُ مِنْ يَدِي وَآخُذُهُ، وَيَسْقُطُ وَآخُذُهُ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Talha that on the day of the Battle of Badr, when we were standing in rows, drowsiness overcame us. I was also among those people, and because of this, my sword kept falling from my hand repeatedly, and I would pick it up.
