Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا غَلَبَ قَوْمًا أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُقِيمَ بِعَرْصَتِهِمْ ثَلَاثًا " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Talhah that when the Prophet (ﷺ) gained dominance over a people, he liked to stay there for three days.
