حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، (٢) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ، جَعَلَ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umar bin Abi Salamah through two different chains that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) in the house of Sayyidah Umm Salamah, praying in a single garment, having placed both its ends over his shoulders.
