Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " سَمِّ اللهَ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umar bin Abi Salamah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: Mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you.
