حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ (١)، ١٦٣٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَوَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ـ قَالَ: وَكِيعٌ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ ـ قَدْ أَلْقَى طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umar bin Abi Salamah through two different chains that I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the house of Sayyidah Umm Salamah, praying in a single garment, with both its ends thrown over his shoulders.
