حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الرَّاسِبِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: " أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَائِمًا وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ: أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Ahmad: and I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Shaddad ibn Sa'id Abu Talhah al-Rasibi, he said: Ghaylan ibn Jarir narrated to me, from Mutarrif ibn Abdullah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from his father, he said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he was "praying sitting or standing, and he was reciting Alhakum al-Takathur until he completed it."
