Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَعَ الْغُلَامِ، ، عَقِيقَتُهُ، فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ الدَّمَ، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Perform 'aqiqah on the birth of a boy, remove impurities from him, and sacrifice an animal on his behalf.
