حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ: صَدَقَةٌ، وَصِلَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Spending on a poor person is a single charity, and giving charity to close relatives has a double reward—one for charity and the other for maintaining family ties.
