Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ: " مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Perform 'aqiqah on the birth of a boy, remove impurities from him, and sacrifice an animal on his behalf.
