حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عدسٍ أَبِي مصلت (١) الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ وَهُوَ لَقِيطُ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَفِقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو رَزِينٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا كُنَّا نَذْبَحُ فِي رَجَبٍ ذَبَائِحَ فَنَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا، وَنُطْعِمُ مِنْهَا (٢) ، مَنْ جَاءَنَا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ " فَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ: " لَا أَدَعُهَا أَبَدًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Razin that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger: O Messenger of Allah! We slaughter some animals in the month of Rajab, we eat ourselves and also feed those who come to us. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is no harm in it.
