حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ (٢) أَبِي رَزِينٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَ الْإِسْلَامَ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ، لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ، وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ، وَلَا الظَّعْنَ، قَالَ: " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Razin Uqayli that he once presented himself before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "My father has become extremely weak and old; he does not have the strength for Hajj and Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf."
