Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، وَقَالَ يُونُسُ: عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: يَخْطُبُنَا، وَقَالَ يُونُسُ: وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Zubair that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.
